Tech Fort Worth and BioNTX Announce Strategic Partnership to Strengthen Biotech Startup Education and Support

FORT WORTH, Texas –Tech Fort Worth, the region's leading technology and innovation hub, today announced a strategic partnership with BioNTX, North Texas's premier life sciences and biotech industry association. The collaboration addresses a critical gap in foundational startup education for biotech entrepreneurs and marks the inaugural launch of ThinkLab On Demand, Tech Fort Worth's new fully online entrepreneurship program. The announcement is part of a unique collaboration with Texas. The launch of ThinkLab On Demand is in collaboration with Texas Women’s University as part of a long standing educational partnership.

"This partnership represents exactly the kind of collaborative ecosystem-building that makes North Texas such a powerful region for innovation," said Caitlin McMinn, Executive Director of Tech Fort Worth. "By combining BioNTX's deep expertise in life sciences with Tech Fort Worth's proven track record in startup education, we're creating a stronger foundation for biotech entrepreneurs at the most critical stage of their journey—the ideation phase."

The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that creates reciprocal benefits for members of both organizations, establishes Tech Fort Worth as the official Pitch Practice partner for BioNTX's IC³ Summit, and commits both organizations to marketing and brand amplification.

"The biotech and life sciences sector requires specialized knowledge not only in science and technology but also in the fundamentals of building a viable business," said Eric Moore, chief communications officer at BioNTX. "Tech Fort Worth's expertise in startup education, combined with our understanding of the life sciences landscape, creates a powerful resource for founders who are transforming breakthrough research into commercial ventures."

ThinkLab On Demand is Tech Fort Worth's first fully online, self-guided entrepreneurship program, featuring eight comprehensive modules covering essential topics for early-stage founders.
