About the Event

From verbal storytelling to visual design to confident and composed Q&A sessions, founders will walkthrough from the first words to the final thank you in a day packed with tips, insights, practice, and feedback to prepare them for building and delivering their strongest pitch and Q&A with investors.

Along the way they will learn insights from Cowtown Angels investors and their peers including:

  • How to be best prepared for the “stage”
  • What comes next by understanding each step of the process
  • Finetuning and punching up their plans plus exposing their gaps
  • The benefits of being organized for every possible next step by having a well-organized deal room,
  • How to clearly articulation of the deal terms, and to speak the language of angels
  • What to highlight most in their stories and materials to check as many boxes for screening committees and reviewers
  • Mature ways of accepting “no”
  • How to build a board (and team?) that carries weight with investors
  • The importance of the investor- founder relationship
