About the Event
Join Joey Swindle, Partner at Evangalist Agency, and Lauren Acton, Marketing Director of TechFW and Cowtown Angels, as they dive into a Branding Bootcamp! They will be discussing the importance of treating your company's brand as a real person with distinct attributes, messages, values and a story to tell.
Swindle is obsessive about delivering for their clients and making sure that the Evangalist team is well taken care of. From client acquisition to process development to creative collaboration, Swindle is involved and invested in each aspect of Evangalist’s production, strategy, and client communication.
Acton's specialty is bootstrap marketing - she has only ever worked at startups or companies with little or no marketing budget. She has helped both nonprofit and for profit companies in b2b as well as b2c. The most prominent client she has done work for (through GRIT Media agency) is Kendra Scott, the jewelry company based in Austin, where she helped build up their online presence. In her last position at a software company, she developed and implemented an SEO strategy that led to a 600% increase in organic Google impressions in the first 5 months. She is passionate about helping startups find out who they are and helping them bring good into the world.
TechNest is an educational series hosted by TechFW.
