Awards for proven entrepreneurial coaching and mentoring.

TechFW has partnered with Satori Capital to give five awards ($1,000 each) to female entrepreneurs that enable them to participate in the TechFW ThinkLab™ accelerator Spring 2022 cohort. With all expenses paid, award winners will get access to coaching and business opportunities to help take their ideas to market.


The cohort is completely virtual with additional opportunities for in-person meetups with other TechFW member companies. The program is from Feb 2, 2022, through Apr 27, 2022. Meetings take place on Zoom every Wednesday from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. 


Who can apply?

  • Founder is a female entrepreneur who is a major shareholder and decision-maker.

  • Founder must live in Texas.

  • If the company is registered, it must be registered in Texas.

  • Founder must own, have licensed, or be working on proprietary technology, a trade secret, or a new innovative way of doing business.

  • The business must be for-profit.

  • Past award winners aren’t eligible to re-apply. If the founder has applied in the past and wasn’t chosen, she is encouraged to re-apply.



Deadline & Process:

Deadline to apply: 5 p.m. Jan 7, 2022.

Upon completion of your application, a TechFW employee will reach out to you to schedule a 30-minute 1-on-1 meeting.

Award winners announced: Jan 18, 2022.

Q: I don’t have a business yet, but I have an idea for one. Can I still apply?

A: Yes.

Q: I don’t have a patent or intellectual property yet. Can I still apply?

A: Yes, as long as you have licensed, or are working on proprietary technology, a trade secret, or a new innovative way of doing business.

Q: Can a nonprofit apply?

A: No. The award only can be given to a for-profit business.

Q: If I applied to any of the past TechFW award opportunities and wasn't selected, can I apply for this award?

A: Yes.

Q: Can previous award winners apply?

A: No.

Q: What can I use to verify I am the major shareholder and decision-maker?

A: Proof of documentation could include: Any woman-owned certification, sole proprietor/assumed name filings, LLC or LLP documentation, certification of organization, articles of incorporation, partnership agreement, or bank signature card.
